UI/WordPress Developer
Job Description
We are seeking a UI Developer responsible for building UI for websites and/or web applications. This position requires a combination of programming/designing skills (namely PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, photoshop, adobe xd, illustrator etc..) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems(WordPress). Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Design page layouts and templates.
- Develop responsive, mobile-friendly websites.
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Develop accessible websites using coding techniques that comply with W3C.
- Design, development, integration and delivery of different UI side modules.
- Make basic edits to PHP and JavaScript files as needed for enhanced functionality.
- Writing SEO friendly code.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven work experience building UI for websites and/or web applications..
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
- Have strong experience of front-end web development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong understanding of Bootstrap, jQuery and web design strategies.
- Full knowledge of using WordPress themes
- Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Knowledge in React JS / Angular / Vue are added advantages.
